Here I am –two weeks out– and I just can’t seem to make the time go any faster. Can you believe I’m still on winter break? Crazy. All I know is that one day soon, I’ll wake up in Buenos Aires.
Until then, here’s a list of what has been going on in my life since I last wrote:
- Caught a cold (not fun)
- Watched a classic battle between my number one man, Rafael Nadal and his counterpart, Roger Federer
- Visited New Jersey to see my dad
- Read the airline’s magazine in the seat-back pocket. Front cover: “Three Perfect Days in Buenos Aires”
- Decided that I would be perfectly content with multiplying that number by 45.
- Solidified the reasons why I’ll always like Rafa over Djokovic.
- Nom nom nom… cupcake.
- Been in denial about leaving so soon
- Found out that I’ll be living in Palermo with my host mom who I can’t wait to meet!
- Watched the Super Bowl with my family (happy with the result– Sorry, Julia!!!)
- Continued my tenure as a “Professional Intern” at Allscripts– only one more Marvelous Megan Monday Meeting?!?
- Thought about starting packing (I fully recognize that I should probably be packing at this very moment)
I’m so excited to get to Argentina (on the 20th) and look forward to my first real post abroad!!
