Barcelona vs. New Jersey?

I was walking to class the other morning and was caught off guard. Everyone was in summer clothes! The girls were wearing their sun dresses and the guys were finally not under ten layers of shirts, vests, thermals, jackets and boots (the normal winter wear). Spring Break [Redefined]

Imagine a world where you are free to roam the globe and there are no boundaries to what you can do. This is the sensation that being abroad has given me as, to date, I have been to ten different countries with plans to visit three more before I leave Vienna. However, nowhere has given me the same sense of freedom as sailing through the islands of Croatia.

The Time of our Lives

It was before dawn and we hadn’t slept from the night before. A small group of five left the apartment headed to the airport in Bratislava. We had everything planned, from the bus transfers, the flights, the hotel and the car rental but we had no idea what was in store for us that weekend. We arrived in Brussels early in the morning and went about seeing the city. We saw such sites as the main town square, the chocolate museum and the beer museum. The do’s and don’t’s for you first week abroad

While I have only been in Vienna for two weeks now it feels as though I have been here for months. I am getting the hang of the public transit system (a little different than figuring out the shuttle schedules in Lewisburg) and am starting to feel comfortable around the city. There are, however, a few things that I wish I had known going into my study abroad experience despite all of the training provided to us.
