Trying to push my physical limits, I decided to go caving during a weekend (The title is just to get people’s attention! ) Caving (aka spelunking) is a sport of exploring cave systems. It involves lots of climbing, crawling and squeezing. But it really depends on the caves. The cave we went on Saturday was tighter (and also had more water in it) than the cave on Sunday. At the Life Drawing Session
Although Bucknell has life drawing sessions, I have never been to any of them. At Nottingham, I decided to give it a try. There is a student club called Art Society that offers life drawing every Monday evening. I am not a member of that society but I can still go to one of the 2-hour sessions, pay extra fees (£2 instead of £1) and take part in the drawing. The Art of Choosing/ What I’ve been doing so far
The main difference between being an international student at Bucknell and studying abroad at Nottingham is the amount of time available . Knowing that I am going to be here only for five months, every second becomes precious to me. Initially, I was overwhelmed by the options presented to me in such a limited time and I was afraid that I would not be able to fully experience this chapter of my life. Dot to Dot
I guess I am going to start a new chapter soon. This isn’t going to be the first time the old characters from my previous chapters became so distant in a new study abroad chapter. I came from Burma (Myanmar) to the US two and a half years ago to start a new chapter at Bucknell.
